23rd February 2014
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: F 4- 5
Surf / Sea State: Waves chop
Air Temperature: 10C
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: fine
Max Speed: 24.97 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 12.1nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

First session since last October went well although despite weigths and cardio in the gym was very unfit for windsurfing - managing 1-2 runs between rest :)
Sea was wavy (low tide) 10 kites out + me Ian and Lord Swain on bds.
the F5 was further out and should have rigged 6.5 instead went for rotational 7.7 which was too much making me even more knackered quickly. Ian went for 6.2 and was over Mark seemed OK on 7.3 pulled flat.
The sea was big further out but the JP120 pro stayed calm and was easy to gybe.
Gybing was OK and switching to rotational sails made waterstarting nice for a change, but notice the couple of knots speed loss.
Had a few burn ups with Swainey and top speeds were even but again sheeting in hard and driving the fin to avoid a Swainey over take is bloody hard work making me well knackered. Top speed 24.97kts and covered a paltry 12nm - finished off in the sauna and steam room made a perfect day.
4 stars cos the sun didn't come out much and I was on the wrong sail :)
